A considerable part of the NUAS conference programme  consists of sessions in which the participants present cases and share their experiences. Holding a session at NUAS is the best way to make contact with other colleagues working in the same area as yourself. And it is the best way to extend your network.

How to contribute

Please contact your local NUASkom planning group member  if you think you have a topic you would like to present. There are no formal requirements, but please provide more than just a title. What is your particular approach to a topic on which you would like to present? The conference covers a wide range, so your topic could deal with internal communication, relaying research results, digital and social media, recruiting students, crisis communication, dealing with the media, and so forth.

All proposals will be reviewed by the planning group, which will subsequently draw up a programme that is varied in terms of both subject and geographical area. You must attend the conference to be able to hold a session.

Conditions for participating as a speaker or moderator at NUAS

In order to further encourage active participation, and to compensate the speakers and moderators for not being able to participate in other parts of the programme during their own presentations, the NUAS communications planning group has decided that all participants who contribute as speakers or moderators get their fee reduced by 25%.

For circus sessions, only one speaker per session gets the reduced fee. Participants who contribute with more than one session will not benefit from further reductions. NUAS is unable to provide compensation for your travel and hotel expenses.

All presenters should be prepared to submit a synopsis describing the content of their presentation well in advance of the conference date. The participants are also required to submit a brief CV and a photo for display on the website.
